Likewise, if applicable, I authorize, as the legal representative of the minors included as guests, that their data may also be incorporated into this database.
Furthermore, I authorize, in my capacity as the owner and/or legal representative of the minors included as guests, that my personal data (and ours), including images, be incorporated into the HOTEL BURU NATURE database and processed in accordance with the same purposes described, which will include their collection, storage, use, dissemination, and final destination. According to Colombian tax legislation, foreigners and Colombian citizens residing abroad who receive the PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, or PIP10 stamp, tourists with a type V visitor visa (formerly TP-11 and TP-12 visas), a type M migrant visa (formerly TP-7), or a type R (resident) visa are exempt from paying 19% VAT, provided they present the corresponding visa or stamp when checking into their accommodation upon entering the country. This exemption is only valid if a package of accommodation and services is purchased. The permit must be presented upon arrival.
This tax is not automatically included in the total amount of the reservation.
We know your pet is part of your family, and we understand your trip wouldn’t be the same without your best friend. That’s why we allow you to bring them with us, as long as you follow these rules to ensure everything runs smoothly during your stay:
Reminder: Pet reservations must be made before arrival at the hotel. They cannot be made once at the property.
In Colombia, it is prohibited to have wild or feral animals, and at our hotel we strictly adhere to this rule. This way, we contribute to the care of wildlife and guarantee the safety of our guests. Therefore, we only allow domestic animals, especially dogs and cats.
The owner must bring their pet’s updated vaccination record, which must include all required vaccines. This includes the pet’s information, such as name, date of birth, breed, color, sex, and any specific symptoms, as well as the owner’s complete information. This will help us verify that the vaccinations are up to date for the pet’s age.
Muzzles are mandatory for breeds considered potentially dangerous, according to the current Police Code in Colombia. Since January 30, 2017, the national government has enacted the new Police Code, which allows for maintaining order through Law 746 of 2002. This regulates dog ownership in urban and rural areas, in public places, and on public transportation where their presence is permitted. For this reason, and based on this Code, we reserve the right to refuse admission to large breed dogs or those considered potentially dangerous, as well as their crosses or hybrids. These breeds include: American Staffordshire Terrier, Bullmastiff, Doberman Pinscher, Dogo Argentino, Dogue de Bordeaux, Fila Brasileiro, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pit Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and Tosa Inu.
Weight: We accept pets up to 15 kg (30 lbs).
Quantity: One (1) pet per room will be accepted.
Rate: A fee of $120,000 is charged per night of stay, including taxes.
Leash: All pets must be accompanied by an adult, be under that person’s full control, and always be on a leash when outside the room.
In the Room: 1) Pets must always be accompanied by the guest or a registered adult. 2) If any item requires special cleaning or if there is any damage in the room, the guest agrees to inform us immediately. 3) Pets are not allowed to use towels, sheets, beds, blankets, or bedding. Pets are also not allowed to be brushed in the rooms or bathed in the showers. 4) Each pet must bring its own bed or appropriate sleeping utensils to keep everything tidy. Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
The use of plates, glasses, and other utensils from the establishment for the use or care of pets is prohibited.
Behavior Policy: Any direct disturbance caused by a pet will generate a warning to the corresponding guest, so they can take the necessary measures to stop the disturbance immediately.
When the pet relieves itself in the hotel’s green areas or common areas, it is the owner’s responsibility to clean up and dispose of bags. Plastic bags are required to collect droppings.
Under no circumstances are pets allowed to relieve themselves inside the rooms. If this happens accidentally, the owner is responsible for picking up and cleaning up the droppings.
If your pet is a cat, you must bring its scratching post and litter box with enough litter and a scoop to clean it.
I) Guests traveling with pets are responsible for any property damage or personal injury their pet may cause. Furthermore, they agree to hold the hotel, its managers, owners, operators, and collaborators harmless from any such incidents. II) If the pet causes any damage, the guest will be responsible for covering it, and the cost will be charged to their account. If the pet’s physiological needs are not properly cleaned inside the room and the hotel is required to perform additional cleaning, an additional charge will be applied. Any failure to comply with the rules in this document by the pet owner or caretaker may result in penalties or cancellation of the accommodation contract, without refund of the money paid or additional compensation.
