5 Days / 4 Nights
A conscious luxury journey designed for couples, adult travelers, and small groups seeking well-being, deep rest, connection with nature, and personal transformation.
You are about to enter one of the most sacred and biodiverse territories on the planet: the Amazon rainforest. Here, every step is an encounter with life in its purest form. To ensure your experience is fulfilling, safe and respectful of the environment, we share the following recommendations.
When the sun sets over the rainforest and the sounds of the forest announce the arrival of night, Umarí transforms into a stage for celebrating the senses.
Each dinner has been conceived as a special experience, where Amazonian gastronomy, unhurried conversation and an intimate atmosphere come together to create memorable moments.
Guests are invited to enjoy this experience in elegant casual or resort-chic attire, in keeping with the spirit of the occasion. Strict formality is not required; simply comfortable, sophisticated clothing that allows guests to fully experience the magic of Amazonian nights.
At Burú, we believe true luxury lies in the details, in shared time and in the beauty of every moment.
About Gratuities
At Burú Nature Hotel, we believe that memorable experiences are the result of the work and dedication of many people: hosts, cooks, maintenance staff, guides, drivers and team members who, with warmth and a spirit of service, make every moment of your stay possible.
Gratuities are entirely voluntary and represent a meaningful way to recognize the effort, hospitality and commitment of our team.
If, during your visit, you feel that a particular staff member or the team as a whole contributed in a special way to your experience, you may leave a gratuity at the end of your stay. These contributions are distributed equitably among the staff who take part in the hotel’s daily operations.
More than a financial reward, a gratuity represents a gesture of gratitude that strengthens the wellbeing of the families who are part of our Amazonian community.
Thank you for valuing the work of those who, from the heart of the rainforest, strive every day to make your journey an unforgettable experience.
Traveling to the Amazon is more than visiting a place: it is entering into dialogue with a living, ancient and wise being. Respect its rhythm, honor its guardians, and let every moment transform the way you see the world
What do we do for the culture and nature of our country?
Siempre Colombia is a travel and tourism organization that, for two decades, has focused its efforts, dreams and purpose on raising awareness, admiration and respect for the nature, culture and identity of the regions it visits, as well as promoting the development of local tourism ventures in the communities of Kilómetro 11, Yaguas, Mocagua and San Martín in the Colombian Amazon. The organization is also beginning outreach with several Wayúu settlements in La Guajira and Afro-Colombian communities on the Pacific coast.
Working with Local Communities
We support collaborative work programs with two indigenous communities in Colombia: the Tikuna people of the southern Amazon and the Wayúu people of the department of La Guajira.
Through traveler awareness programs, we promote appreciation, admiration and respect among travelers toward the communities visited, as well as a strengthened sense of identity and cultural pride among local hosts.
We support local ventures such as ancestral craft workshops, traditional gastronomy, ancestral ceremonies and rituals, environmental guidance and interpretation, accommodation in native hosts’ homes, community-run restaurants, among others.
A World to Transform Program
This is an initiative of Siempre Colombia and its partner suppliers and clients, through which we seek to directly support local communities with volunteer programs. Beyond living a life-changing experience, volunteers support and accompany children, young people, single mothers and elders in local communities, working across areas such as health, education, recreation, cultural appropriation and the development of community-based ventures.
How Do We Do It?
Through the design, marketing and operation of solidarity, nature, culture and education-based tourism programs for national and international visitors, whose main motivation is to live an authentic and spontaneous experience of interaction with the community visited — one where they can contribute from their own areas of knowledge while sharing daily life with local residents.
All of our programs are designed and operated around three core principles:

Important notes from the heart of the jungle
You do not merely traverse the jungle; you inhabit it:
As the jungle is an environment with a constant, living pulse, our itineraries embrace the flexibility needed to adapt to the whims of the weather, changes in flight schedules, and other variables.
We are committed to managing every adjustment with sound judgment, ensuring the purpose of your journey is successfully fulfilled.
To guarantee your privacy, all land and river transfers are conducted in exclusive groups, reserved solely for guests of Burú Nature Hotel.

Step away from the noise of modern life and immerse yourself in a transformative journey of healing, ancestral wisdom, and natural luxury deep in the Colombian Amazon.
In the fast-paced modern world, finding true quiet has become the ultimate luxury. At Buru Nature Hotel, we invite you to experience a dedicated Amazon rainforest wellness retreat designed to heal the mind, restore the body, and awaken the spirit. Located within an exclusive, low-density private reserve near Leticia, Colombia, our sanctuary offers a rare environment where you can fully unplug, breathe clean canopy air, and listen to the healing symphony of the jungle.
Your wellness experience is carefully managed from start to finish. To ensure a completely stress-free arrival, we coordinate your logistics with our trusted partner, Siempre Colombia. From secure airport greeting in Leticia to a quiet, scenic boat ride along the river directly to our docks, every transition is smooth and safe. Once here, you are not simply a guest; you are the focus of a tailored, highly mindful journey supported by heartfelt hospitality and professional care.
By blending ancestral indigenous rituals, daily movement, organic gastronomy, and stilted accommodations, we provide a holistic path to wellness that respects the natural world and honors the ancient wisdom of the forest.
Our program targets your recovery through three core aspects, ensuring a balanced, comprehensive approach to overall well-being:
Experience authentic ceremonies guided by indigenous elders. Through ancestral songs, breathing exercises, and natural forest resins, you will release mental weight and find deep emotional peace.
Nourish your body with clean, organic dishes that fuse native Amazonian ingredients with modern wellness techniques. Every meal is designed to detoxify and energize your system.
Sleep high among the trees in our beautiful stilted cabins (Yewae, Yinakai, Hitoma, Yakuruna, and Kurupira). Reconnect with natural sleep cycles guided by the nocturnal sounds of the forest.
Our wellness retreat program carefully balances structured restorative activities with plenty of personal time to rest and reflect on your private balcony:
| Time / Day | Morning Activities (Rejuvenation) | Afternoon & Evening (Ancestral & Rest) |
|---|---|---|

During our wellness retreat, your room acts as your personal sanctuary. Our cabins—including Yewae, Yinakai, Hitoma, Yakuruna, and Kurupira—are built on stilted platforms that sit high in the forest. Designed to provide comfort without separating you from nature, these rooms use local sustainable woods and are styled with traditional regional art.
Each eco-hab features a large private balcony with comfortable seating, perfect for morning reflection, meditation, or watching regional birds. The spacious private bathrooms are decorated with local stone and wood, and we provide natural, biodegradable soaps and shampoo to protect the clean forest soil. Falling asleep to the natural sounds of the Amazon and waking up to the gentle light filtering through the trees is a deeply healing experience that helps restore your body's natural circadian rhythm.
